Data deletion

You can stop Reelwave from reaching your Instagram account at any time, and have everything we hold about it deleted. Choose whichever of these suits you.

1. Disconnect your Instagram account in Reelwave

1. Sign in at app.getreelwave.com.
2. Go to Accounts.
3. Select Disconnect on the Instagram account's row, then confirm.

We delete the account's stored Instagram token straight away, so Reelwave can no longer publish, reply or read anything on that account. The account shows as Disconnected. Your posts and history stay in Reelwave so you can reconnect later, until you delete them using one of the options below.

2. Remove Reelwave's access from Instagram

In the Instagram app, go to Settings and activity → Website permissions → Apps and websites and remove the app. Instagram tells us automatically, and we disconnect the account exactly as in option 1, deleting its token immediately.

If you connected through Facebook, you can also remove the app under Settings and privacy → Settings → Business integrations.

3. Ask Instagram to delete your data

When you request deletion of your data through Instagram or Meta, they send the request to us automatically. We then immediately and permanently delete everything Reelwave holds for that Instagram account:

• scheduled and published post records, captions and their media;
• AI reels made for the account;
• comment and message automations, their logs, and inbox conversations and messages;
• the account record and its access token.

Meta shows you a confirmation code. Its status link opens this page with the code at the top.

4. Delete your whole Reelwave login

Deleting your Reelwave (Banyan) account deletes all of your Reelwave data: every connected Instagram account and everything listed above, plus your AI reels, Copilot conversations and settings.

Prefer email?

Email ujjwal@codenicely.in from the address on your account, with the subject Delete my Reelwave data and the Instagram username(s) you connected. We confirm and complete the request within 30 days.

What stays

We keep only records the law requires, such as invoices. Posts already published to Instagram stay on Instagram; delete them in the Instagram app if you want them gone.
